Driveway Expansion Joint

Street creep, occurs when the concrete street expands during hot months, putting excess pressure on your driveway and, in turn, your foundation. Street creep can also occur on roads that experience frequent traffic, different sized vehicles and vibrations from passing traffic can push slabs into each other causing damage to the driveway and foundation.

The installation of driveway expansion joint will relieve and minimize pressure experienced from street creep. The installation process involves saw cutting an approximate 4" strip across the width of the driveway to be removed and replaced with fiberboard which will allow the expansion and contraction between concrete slabs and eliminate the damaging street creep pressure.
